Sentence Formation - Overview

Mark Complete

In this section, you will learn how to construct simple sentences in Filipino.

This includes learning to use the articles si, siná, ang, and ang mga.

These articles are used along with nouns to give information about the noun and indicate grammatical definiteness.

A noun is always preceded by an article if it is used as the subject of the sentence (except for imperative sentences). This includes for names of people, places, and objects.

You will learn basic sentence structure now. In future lessons you will learn additional ways of forming Filipino sentences, and ways of adding complexity and nuance.
