"Magkaroon ka ng magandang araw" is the literal translation of "(You) have a good day". However, we don't express the greeting that way in Filipino.
 
What we say is "Magandang araw sa iyo" (A good day to you).

@Tagamanila Maraming salamat po, To be honest it did seem "not quite right" to me and I'm happy my hunch was confirmed. Magandang araw sa iyo does sound sweeter to my ear also.
