Hello! My name is Brian. I am a Beginner Filipino language student.
I am studying the Filipino language because I am retiring next year and moving to the Philippines, Davao City to be exact. I am immersing myself in the culture as much as possible before arrival in order to be more comfortable.

@bpfoflygen Welcome, Brian! You might spend some time learning Bisaya if you are moving to Davao, although Tagalog will be useful too! My wife has cousins near Davao - I’d love to visit some day!
