or debates, hosting debates with Rodrigo Duterte,

years before that, Leila de Lima,

as the chief of the Congress,

the Commission on Human Rights,

was taking the fight to Rodrigo Duterte,

including in Davao,

including in the city hall in Davao, right?

So, former Senator Leila de Lima has a very long track record

of fighting for human rights against de facto warlords

or, you know, your classic case of, you know,

warlord political dynasties, no?

So, this is a person who has a long track record

of really fighting for convictions.

I can talk about a lot of other things.

Leila de Lima was the chief critic of the former president,

his most contentious rival in many ways,

standing up to Duterte in the first six months to one year.

had second thoughts about, you know,
