@Balibagoboy Wow! Nice, I currently live in Brisbane (must work). I have only spent a few nights in Manila with my wife (also to meet extended family there). Nearly all my time has been in Bacolod City (Negros Occidental) but have done a wee bit of exploring with my new Filipino family to Caliling (Negross Occ), Iloilo and Carles (Panay). I miss my other home and family so much.

Hello! My name is Ryan. I am from United States and I am a Beginner(Lots of previous experience however, but I don't know enough vocabulary) Filipino language student.
I am studying the Filipino language because I want to speak more Tagalog with my girlfriend, be able to talk to her family which does not understand much English, and I generally just have an appreciation towards both Tagalog and language learning in general. I will be moving to the Philippines in 4 months if the travel restrictions are lifted, so my goal is to become more conversational and know a ton of words in this short amount of time. I am currently dedicating around 8 hours a day to my Tagalog language studies.
